    The "trot" up the spiral staircase is not everyone's cup of tea, but once you make your last step... the view's outstanding.

    In fortunately closed for renovations. No notice of this on site. Had it on my itinerary of places to see well before arriving in Hobart. Looked interesting from the outside.

    Totally unexpected and well worth the stop to do the climb internally to top of tower. The history behind it facinating...the site attendant very informative and a wealth of knowledge of tower history and the surrounding attractions. Just do it!!
